Seamus Ricci (they/them) is a multidisciplinary director, writer, and educator who has been working in the fine arts community since 2008. Their work spans opera, musical theatre, and plays, with credits both across the United States and internationally.

 

Based in New York City, Seamus draws from a dynamic background in directing, performance, visual art, and education to create innovative, accessible, and identity-affirming storytelling. Their work is rooted in the belief that theatre can be a catalyst for connection, validation, and expanded perspectives.

 

Alongside their freelance creative work, Seamus is dedicated to developing new works and fostering opportunities for emerging artists—supporting diverse voices and the stories they bring to life.
