Seamus Ricci has been thriving in creating classical and contemporary performances with fine arts programs and theater companies that present new and innovative concepts to make theater relative and inclusive to performers and audiences alike. Seamus has had the pleasure to worked with companies such as City Theatre of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh Festival Opera, Bach Choir of Pittsburgh, Opera North, Opera NEO, Opera San Jose, Indianapolis Opera, Knoxville Opera, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and Pittsburgh Opera. During these experiences, Seamus has had the fortune to be mentored under the direction of Thomas W. Douglas, Wayne Bryan, Tracy Brigden, Daniel Rigazzi, Candace Evans, and Crystal Manich who have achieved national and international careers in theater. Alongside directing credits, Seamus has also been involved in writing and producing new works as well as advocating for arts education as the Director of Education for Pittsburgh Festival Opera and attending East 15 Acting School to obtain an MFA in Theatre Directing.
